Pin Up Project (NSFW'ish)

December 29, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

I started a personal photo project late last spring called Project Pinup, an attempt at a photographic version of the painted pinups from the middle of the 20th century.

This is a bit of an exercise for me in getting a certain type of lighting to help in the post processing in which I'm attempting to blur the line between a painting and a photograph, yet not looking overly done. I'm getting closer, but I've still got a ways to go.

Speaking of which - If you or anyone that you may think might be interested in modelling for the pinup project and are in the Washington, DC area, don't be shy and shoot me an email at jp@jpzphoto.com

In this post I have Danielle (left) and Michelle (below) who came to the rescue when the original model cancelled right before my last shoot, and Katie (bottom) who helped me kick off the project late last spring.
