Last weekend was interesting when it came to music - Friday's show had big bands with Eastern European influences, while Saturday's show revolved around something a bit more Americana.
Following Hearts & Spades was a rockabilly/honky tonk/good 'ole Americana country band, The Highballers.
I would have to say that The Highballers brought the majority of the energy of the night from the three bands, especially from guitarist/vocals Kendall Jackson's stage presence. What really balanced out the band well was the vocal duo between Kendall Jackson and Victoria Patchen.
The Walkaways finished up the night with a very solid alt country set that complimented the evening just right. From the beginning of the show rising in energy, the middle topping off, and the end being just right to bring everyone back down to a good state.
